Fun Photos to catch up...

This is Madalyn playing in the photo booth so she could post her picture for me.

So, I had to figure out how to post a real picture of her.

Tucker and the boys went fishing and actually brought fish home so we could eat them...or so we could stick them in our freezer until I threw them away.

In August, we had a Silly String Fight out in the trees for Braden's Birthday.... which was back in May.  Better late than never!

What else could we do with a lot of water and dirt...

How about inviting all the family  to come over for a glorious game of mud football?

Macey's Victory Stance!

McKenna wanted  to get in on the mud fun too.  She also likes to play in the spray off tub.

Well I am learning to post. This was fun practice.  It has been sitting as a draft for a month at least so here it goes.

I hope this gets easier!

I decided to start a blog after my mom said, "Check out dad's blog!  He's posted pictures on it now."  So I did the daughter duty and checked it out between taxiing the kids around.  I noticed that my dad only posted the pictures of half the kids in our family.   So I thought I would leave some silly sarcastic comment about my parents having a total of six kids and three favorites.  Well, in order to do so, I needed to open an account. So as I  sat there spending more time doing that, than I had to spare, the insane thought occurred to me to just create a blog to make my comments from.

My friends and family keep saying,  "Did you read so and so's blog."   "No."  I would reply trying to keep the annoyance out of my voice like you do when you're pregnant and someone asks you when you are due for the hundredth time..."Oh you have to read it.  It is so funny!" Blah, blah, blah...
I admit I have dragged my feet to this whole blogging thing.  I thought to myself, "I have six kids and a stainless steel appliance.  I hardly have time to even read a brochure, let alone post a blog."  When my daughter, Madalyn came home and asked, "Who's blog is that?"  "Mine."  I replied, intent on figuring out how to post pictures...If my dad could do it... "Whoa, you have a blog?"  Okay, that did it for me.  I don't want to be one of those parents that's like a deer caught in headlights in front of some computerized object.  "Yes, I have a blog.  Is there something wrong with that?"  "No, it's cool."  Presto!  I'm was now instantly turned into a cool mom with a blog..."Great!  Will you help me post a picture?"

So, what it really comes down to is this: I now am continuing to blog, just so my kids will think I'm cool in at least one area of my life and so we can spend time together while they post pictures for me on my "cool mom" blog.  Maybe, in time, the actual blogging will become as fun for me as the "posting pictures" onto my blog with my kids is for me right now.  And in the meantime you can chuckle, or laugh or even say, "I told you so."
