This is June?!
The evening of Braden's baptism we had a thunder storm accompanied by lots of hail. This is what was left when I finally thought to go get my camera and take some pictures.

Maren scooped up a handful of hail off of the deck.

And these have actually melted. They were dime to nickel size when they first came pouring down.

Our driveway flooded by quite a bit. Tucker was out there trying to see where he needed to fix the drainage problem...Look at the hail still on the roof!

What joy a sizable puddle can bring.

No keeping Kenna out of all the fun.

"Hey boys, just ditch the boots."

I used to love to run and ride my bike through puddles when I was little. In fact, I still love driving my car through puddles.(tee hee) So it is no wonder that I took several pictures of the kids just wading, walking, running and stomping in this puddle. It didn't last nearly long enough for me and the kids. As far as Tucker's POV that's a different story.

Braden's Baptism

This was taken the morning of Braden's baptism. He was so excited! (He even tucked in his shirt and put on a belt with out being asked.)

This was taken right after they came out of the font. Braden was all smiles, I was all tears. (Weddings are going to be a mess for me.) Tucker struggled for a moment trying not to let his emotions get the best of him as he stood in the water with his oldest son. It was really a tender moment.

This is Braden and his good friend Ian Purnell. Ian was baptized right before Braden and watched Braden be baptized from the stairs of the font. It was so sweet. (We have known the Purnell's since we moved to Eagle ten years ago.) These two have been friends ever since they were born. Ian's parents wheeled him into our hospital room so they could "meet" before they left the hospital. They were born less than 24 hours apart.

Here are the men who helped confirm Braden. L to R -Braden's Uncle Raul Labrador, Uncle Sam Johnson, Grandpa Ted Johnson, his dad, Tucker Johnson, Grandad Bill Rader, UncleDavid Turnbull and our good friend David Jeppson.

We had a great family and friends gathering at the house after wards to celebrate. It was neat to have so many be able to come and support Braden in his decision to be baptized.

It was a very sweet and memorable day.
