Joyous July!

Tucker's sister Jenny married Blair Wood and had their reception at their parent's home
on July 2. Jenny was a beautiful bride. She looked so peaceful and happy and gorgeous. (I could have posted a whole post with beautiful pictures of her and the granddaughters....)

(Jenny and Blair and the littlest granddaughters in Tucker's Dad's Model T.)
Blair is an impressive (and good looking) guy. It's so neat how much their love radiates for each other.

Aunt Jenny and our girls.

We had Tucker's family reunion over the 4th of July since we were all gathered for the reception anyway. This is Tucker's sister Kristin and her daughter Jordan. They made some festive red, white and blue drinks for us.

Later in the month, the Turnbulls so generously offered to have anybody join them at their time at their cabin on the lake. Well, they went from total peace and quiet with only three of them to total chaos since several families took them up on their offer. It was HEAVEN!!! Thank you Turnbulls!!
Here are the teenage girls soaking in the sun and doing their nails out on the dock.
Maren the fish.

Cameron, Maren and Braden on the tube.

McKenna playing in the sand by the water. She totally loves the beach. She would get up and first thing put on her swim suit.

There were lots of frogs and the boys and Maren had a blast catching them. They even caught minnows in a bucket. They were in paradise. So was I, watching them have so much fun without a TV! They really do love to be outside and by water.

One of the many happy and fun lovin' faces of McKenna.

Let's see... What is so fun about a dock and hot weather and a cool lake...

JUST GOING FOR THE LONG RUN AND JUMPING IN!!
Until next time....Ahoy, Maties!

Wrapping up June and Starting July with a Bang!
Well, Tucker and I went to Seattle alone for a few days to celebrate our 19th anniversary.

We stayed at a hotel a few blocks from Pike Place Market. I thought it would be neat to go down at 4am and watch all the deliveries for the fish and flowers...however, my eyes thought differently and stayed closed way past that. You gotta love the beautiful flowers and the price!

We ate breakfast at the Athenian Inn in the market place and yes, I made Tucker pose for this shot and yes,as you can see by his face, he is saying, "Why are you having me do this?" (This is where Tom Hanks sat when getting advice from his friend in "Sleepless in Seattle.")We love to visit Seattle. It is close enough to home to not have to travel all day and reminds me of the "Big City" area where I grew up. It was a nice and relaxing trip, much needed for both of us.

On to winding up other news...this is an on going thing, Cameron just keeps us laughing.

Madalyn had her end of the year dance recital and did a great job. This is the first year that it hit Tucker and I hard that she is not a little girl anymore.
I always enjoy going to her dance concerts because it brings back so many fun memories for me when I danced.Last but not least, Macey went to EFY with her cousin Miriam (first on the left) and had a great time. Now full speed ahead into July. Tucker's youngest sister got married (she was beautiful!) and her home reception is July 2, then right into Tucker's family reunion. Happy 4th to all.
