We've Officially Sold Our House!
We closed late last Friday and are very grateful to have it over with and count our blessings that we did as well as we did in this market. We don't know why things worked out the way they did. It wasn't the way we had originally planned things to go, but we have been made very aware that our Heavenly Father has a hand in all things. A nice family has started to move in and will even let us come cut out the girls hand prints from the driveway! It was a great house for us and we are glad it will no longer stand empty.

Funny little McKenna
We weened her off the bottle only to discover a bigger problem...One Saturday morning I walked out to the kitchen and there was Kenna helping herself to a little drink. The cereal eaters were all entranced with Saturday morning cartoons and had left the milk out.

Another Birthday at our house!
Here is a little trip down memory lane for Braden. (It's pretty short since I don't have digital photos before 2004.)

Man, I can't believe how fast they grow up.

Here he is with McKenna in the hospital. He was so mad she was not a boy he wouldn't speak to me on the phone when we called and told the kids about he baby. But that all changed once he saw her...his heart melted.

Happy 8th Birthday Braden!
For his birthday he got scriptures with his name embossed on them. Every Sunday for about a month he would write down the color, the type, and the color of a case that he wanted.

This is a sad little cake but he made me stop frosting it because he only wanted the whip cream on the top of the angel food cake. Strawberries were served on the side.

We had the "great silly string fight" at his birthday party. It is always a big hit with the boys.

I can't believe he is eight years old and will be getting baptized next month. He is so excited and we are so proud of him and his desire to follow our Savior's example.

ON TO A SILLIER NOTE...

McKenna loves to put on other people's clothes. She found these pants and saw Cameron for some reason running around without his shirt and decided to dress like him. (I believe they're Maren's pants.)

Cameron lost his first tooth. I looked in his mouth because his teeth looked kinda odd. I said, "Cameron! You're tooth is loose!" He said. "It is? Which one?" He wiggled it for a little bit throughout the day and we pulled it that afternoon.

Well, the chicks are just about chickens. At least they look better now that they have feathered out. (They sure don't smell any better.) One chicken is three times the size of the others. I think it must be a meat bird rather than a laying hen. We have the wood for the coop, now we just need to draw up the plan and build it.

Happy 13th Birthday Madalyn!
Madalyn got her ears pierced for her birthday. She was not about to wait one more day, so we did it on her actual birthday.

One, two, three and the deed was done!

Later, we had a chocolate jelly roll cake (with mint chocolate chip ice cream rolled inside.)

Cameron, also had a big day on Madalyn's birthday. He said, "Mom when is dad going to take off my training wheels?" I said, "I'll do it." So I removed them thinking this could be a mistake.

Well, the little squirt didn't even need my help. A few pushes and off he went.

He said, "Mom? Are you so proud of me now that I can ride a two wheeler?"

Meanwhile, back on the farm...Tucker, Braden and Maren where grading the garden area...

McKenna will let you do her hair most of the time. She just doesn't let it stay in for very long.
I said, "Smile Kenna" and she said, "Cheese!"

I took the kids on a spontaneous trip to Shoshone Falls.

I had never been there and had heard on the news that it was flowing at its highest level in ten years!

It was pretty impressive and worth the drive. We had fun playing hide and seek and rolling down the hills.

Later, we stopped by the Twin Falls temple.

McKenna was checking out the angel Moroni.

Lastly, it was Dance Festival time. Macey performed along with 5 other stakes. This was our stake performing the Tango. (Macey is in front, but you can't tell it's her.) The floor was packed when all the stakes performed together.

Macey and her friend Elise.
Well, we have Braden's eighth birthday and then his baptism coming right up. So I will post more soon.
